Supermassive Games, the notable game developer known for interactive horror titles such as Until Dawn and The Quarry, is planning to cut approximately 90 jobs, which equates to roughly a third of its workforce of over 300 employees. The studio confirmed in a statement plans for an organizational restructure, noting that the decision was made after extensive consideration. The indie studio is actively seeking financial backing to resume production with hopes of rehiring future team members. However, given the current funding and investment landscape, securing sufficient project funding has proven to be a considerable challenge.
